Citizens Rights Watch CRW STATUTE(Articles of Organization)

The following articles shall govern “CITIZENS RIGHTS WATCH”.

INTRODUCTION

Citizens Rights Watch is a world independent, Non Profit, Non Governmental international civil society organization, incorporated to monitor worldwide governments, and watch their efforts to provide, facilitate, enhance, protect, and maintain citizens' rights. By focusing international attention where citizens' minimum rights are ignored or digested, CRW gives voice to governments to bring benefits justice to citizens around the world.

CRW engages in International Human Rights activities , in a spirit of cooperation, tolerance and solidarity with all organizations and authorities, in the interests of humankind.

PHILOSOPHY:

Citizens Rights Watch, promotes, supports, and work as an effective tool to protect Human Rights as stated in The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, with focuses on.

Article 3. “Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person”.

Article 10. “Everyone is entitled in full equality to a fair and public hearing by an independent and impartial tribunal, in the determination of his rights and obligations and of any criminal charge against him”.

Article 14. “(1) Everyone has the right to seek and to enjoy in other countries asylum from persecution, (2) This right may not be invoked in the case of prosecutions genuinely arising from non-political crimes or from acts contrary to the purposes and principles of the United Nations”. Article 15. “Everyone has the right to a nationality”.

Article 21. “Everyone has the right of equal access to public service in his country”.

Article 22, which states “Everyone, as a member of society, has the right to social security and is entitled to realization, through national effort and international co-operation and in accordance with the organization and resources of each State, of the economic, social and cultural rights indispensable for his dignity and the free development of his personality.”.

Article 25. “Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control”.

Article 26. “Everyone has the right to education. Education shall be free, at least in the elementary and fundamental stages. Elementary education shall be compulsory. Technical and professional education shall be made generally available and higher education shall be equally accessible to all on the basis of merit.”

CRW follows and monitors the worldwide countries’ officials who are responsible for protecting these rights.

To encourage and drive ruling authorities in the world to focus on their citizens rights.

Citizenship

Representation of an individual in a specific land.

Citizen:

A member of a nation who owes allegiance to its government and is entitled to RIGHTS and privileges.

Citizens Responsibilities:

  • Respect and obey Country’s Constitution & Laws.
  • Respect the rights of others.

  • Defend the country if the need should arise..

CRW METHODOLOGIES?

Citizens Rights Watch engages in International Human Rights activities , in a spirit of cooperation, tolerance and solidarity with all organizations and authorities, in the interests of humankind.

Citizens Rights Watch uses the methodology mass-pressure by encouraging public questionnaires and letters writing to communicate with governments and media. With concentration on using new technologies to deliver messages related to Citizens Rights Issues.

Second methodology is the mass-media to announce to the world every country efforts in relation to its citizens welfare. With concentration on using New Media to publish CRW messages and reports..

1.Name, Status, and Address

1.The name of the organization shall be “CITIZENS RIGHTS WATCH” (henceforth: “the organization)

2.It shall also be known as “CRW”

3.The organization shall be a non-profitable, non-governmental, non-charitable, INDEPENDENT, INTERNATIONAL association, and to be incorporated as OFFSHORE NON PROFIT ORGANIZATION.

4.The association is an independent organization with the status of a legal entity.

5.CRW is an organization of worldwide Citizens’ Rights Watch, dedicated to monitor governments, and watch their efforts to provide, facilitate, enhance, protect, and maintain citizens' rights. By focusing international attention where citizens' rights are ignored or digested, CRW gives voice to governments to bring benefits justice to citizens around the world.

6.The organization shall not distribute any net profits or profits as such, to any individual. The assets, income, and profit of the organization shall be used for the purpose of supporting the non-profitable objectives of the organization, and not for direct or indirect special benefits to individuals, be they the Founders, Director, Staff, or any member or donor of the organization. A reasonable amount of compensation shall be awarded to the above-mentioned persons for the work they carry out in the organization.

7.CRW headquarters / representation office can be opened in any city in the world.

8.The organization is founded in 2014.

2.CRW Legal Status:

1.Citizens Rights Watch is legalized as an OFFSHORE, Non-Profit, and Non-Governmental Organization. Incorporated in United Kingdom with full independence.

2.CRW does not accept governmental funding in order to protect the independence of the organisation.

3.OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES

1.CRW Objectives:

  1. 1.The organization has been established for the purpose of intensifying the development of Citizens Rights in all world countries. Its aim is involvement in fulfilling the minimum parameters of civic life of the medical care, education, accommodation, employment, and protecting dignity of individual countries citizens, by utilizing the achievements of the successful contemporary nations and the advanced cultures of world nations.
  2. 2.Monitor governments' efforts to develop Health care systems to meet the minimum health needs of citizens.
  3. 3.Monitor governments' efforts to insure facilitating free education for citizens.
  4. 4.Monitor governments' efforts to provide and protects citizens' right to adequate housing to acquire and sustain a secure home and community in which to live in peace.
  5. 5.CRW monitors governments' efforts to insure the right of every citizen to work, to free choice of employment, to just and favourable conditions of work and to protection against unemployment, and receive wages that contribute to an adequate standard of living.
  6. 6.CRW monitor governments to protect the Citizens' Right to Dignity, including but not limited to the right to: Equal access to public service in country of citizenship; Freedom of thought, opinion and expression; practice religion or belief; Equal Opportunity; Protection from torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment; Protection from arbitrary arrest, detention or exile, fair trial, and security.
  7. 7.CRW activities are intended to become a contribution to the 'progressive realization' of the rights of citizens around the world.

2.CRW Activities::

  1. 1.CRW's mandate includes any activity that could promote the protection and enjoyment of all rights of citizens around the world.
  2. 2.Raising Citizens' awareness of their rights based on "THE UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS".
  3. 3.Publish reports, questionnaires, and indicators.
  4. 4.Organize international conferences;
  5. 5.Promoting respect to different forms which fulfills Citizens Rights.
  6. 6.organizing study, and facts finding visits
  7. 7.enable, on voluntary basis, the cooperation between associations, foundations, and organizations that carry out similar activities.

4.MEMBERSHIP :

1.Membership in the organization is open to any citizen of any country in the world.

2.There are TWO main membership types:

  1. 1.Follow Members (FM)
    1. - Any person with access to internet and have interest to follow CRW.
    2. - No minimum age.
  2. 2.Active Members (AM):
    1. - Minimum age is EIGHTEEN (18) YEARS.

3.CRW membership is FREE.

4.The membership may also be terminated or suspended upon the decision of CRW, in cases when the actions of the concerned member have caused material or moral damage to the organization or its statue.

In case of suspension, the length of suspension shall be decided.

5.GOVERNING BODIES

1.CRW PRESIDENT:

  1. 1.Chair CRW for FOUR YEARS.
  2. 2.President is elected by the Trustees Council.
  3. 3.After the four years, shall keep the post until a new member takes the position.
  4. 4.Approves CRW bylaws, reports from CRW Activists, activists applications, and sponsors.
  5. 5.Responsible about guaranteeing providing financial support to the organization.
  6. 6.Approve members for CRW TRUSTEES COUNCIL.
  7. 7.Approves payments or compensations to members or staff.
  8. 8.Appoints and delegates official representatives for involvement in the work and activities;
  9. 9.Proposes individuals to become honored members of the organization.
  10. 10.works on the advancement of the organization's development plan;
  11. 11.Signs contracts and agreements on behalf of the organization;
  12. 12.gives orders on matters related to material and financial activities;\
  13. 13.CRW President is a Fully voluntarily position.
  14. 14.In case of PRESIDENT death, or resignation, CRW TRUSTEES COUNCIL shall appoint a successor to serve for the remainder of the mandate.

2.CRW TRUSTEES COUNCIL (TC)

  1. 1.Headed by CRW President.
  2. 2.Vote for President.
  3. 3.Decision is based on Majority standards.
  4. 4.The highest governing body of the organization.
  5. 5.Provide media, political, and all necessary support to CRW.
  6. 6.If a nation is not represented in the Trustees Council, then minimum of one member can always join based on TC acceptance.
  7. 7.President can decide to compensate members when necessary.
  8. 8.Propose CRW Bylaws to President.
  9. 9.Propose amendments to the statute of the organization to present to President when necessary;
  10. 10.Act in accordance with the objective of the organization.

3.CRW Secretary-General (SG):

  1. 1.Appointed by President within 3 months from the date of electing CRW President.
  2. 2.Reports to CRW President;
  3. 3.Act as Assistant to CRW President.
  4. 4.Act as secretary of Trustees Council.
  5. 5.Represent CRW with the public, media, and relevant local and international institutions.
  6. 6.The mandate may end earlier upon:
  7. 7.Decision of the TC;
  8. 8.in case he/she has seriously breached the law or the Statute;
  9. 9.does not fulfill the duties and obligations for which he/she has been appointed;
  10. 10.has caused material or moral damage to the organization.
  11. 11.executes the decisions of the president and Trustees Council;
  12. 12.prepares the meetings of the TRUSTEES COUNCIL, when necessary.;
  13. 13.informs the members of the TRUSTEES COUNCIL on the activities of the organization;
  14. 14.reviews, concludes, and prepare contracts and agreements on behalf of the organization, for president signature.

6.Annual Report:

1.The Trustees Council and the GENERAL SECRETARY shall generate and publish annual report.

2.The financial year of the organization shall comply with the calendar year.

3.CRW Annual Report should comply with international standards of NGO.

4.CRW Annual Report should be sent to United Nation [Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC)]

7.Announcements:

1.All information should be made available to all CRW Members

2.The work of the organization is open to the public.

3.The public shall be informed through the media with respect to the activities of the organization.

4.For the purpose of informing the members of the organization and other entities, CRW President, Trustees Council, or General Secretary may undertake steps to create a body responsible for handing out information, a bulletin, or a magazine.

5.Maintaining updated website and social networks accounts shall be the responsibility of the Trustees Council.

6.Releasing minimum of one PRESS-RELEASE per calendar month.

7.PRESS-RELEASES must be approved by CRW President.

8.Structuring relations and contacts with world news agencies and channels.

8.AWARDS AND ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

1.CRW may hand out awards, acknowledgments and diplomas to individuals and organizations for their support, contribution, or participation in any CRW activity, or performing any important work in the field of CITIZENS' RIGHTS.

9.DISSOLUTION

1.Dissolution of the Organization

2.The organization may dissolve based on the decision of the majority of members of the Assembly.

3.After a decision on dissolution has been reached, the Assembly shall make known the name of the other organization or foundation that shall inherit the remaining assets of the organization, after all its debts have been cleared. The inheriting organization(s) or foundation(s) must have the same or similar objectives as the dissolved organization.

10.AMENDMENTS to the Statute:

1.The current Statute may be amended upon the decision of of the majority of the Trustees Council.

11.TRANSITIONAL PROVISIONS

1.All matters not regulated by this Statute shall be regulated by the Rules of Procedure and other sub-normative acts.

2.The organization may become a member of other similar local or international associations for the purpose of fully achieving its goals.

3.The organization shall become a legal entity upon registration in the NGO Register.
